Announced at PPC Imaginarium’s 2015/2016 Exhibition Opening at Youngblood Arts & Culture Development foundation on the evening of Thursday 4 February, and chosen out of a record number of 698 entries, the Category Award Winners and Runner-up Prize Winners for this year are as follows:

FASHION

Category Winner: Hester Erusmus

INDUSTRIAL DESIGN

Category Winner: August de Wet

Runner-up: Ivan Brown

SCULPTURE

Category Winner: Janna Kruger

Runner-up: Ester Pohl

Category Winner: Mignon Daubermann

A RECORD NUMBER OF FINALISTS:

While congratulations must go to our deserving winners, we also acknowledge all 47 Finalists – that’s more than double the number of Finalists compared to last year’s competition! Our full list of 2015/2016 Finalists has just been featured by House and Leisure magazine. (Read more)

WE’VE GONE VIRTUAL!

A new addition to the PPC Imaginarium website is our Digital Gallery, where you can view all of the Finalists’ work, read their conceptual statements, and decide which piece is your favourite. It’s a great way to experience the 2015/2016 Exhibition! (Read more)

SAVE THE DATE…

If you prefer the actual to the virtual, then visit the exhibition at Youngblood Arts & Culture Development foundation in Cape Town until 26 February 2016. The overall winner will be announced at UJ Art Gallery, Kingsway, Auckland Park, JHB at the exhibition opening on Thursday 3rd of March at 18:00. Please RSVP by the 29th of Feb. After that, you’ll be able to see the show from 01 to 12 April 2016 at the Pretoria Arts Association. (Read more)
